I can't imagine why yours no longer work.Corel ParticleShop is a powerful brush plugin powered by Painter to create one-of-a-kind effects on your images. I have 64-bit versions of X8 and X9 installed and don't have a problem with my old plugins still working in the 32-bit versions of both of those. Will install PSP X7 on that one in 64-bit and then see what happens. This site is a good example of what I'm talking about: Especially in The Netherlands and Belgium this is still very populair. My users use PSP for working with backgrounds with masks,to which the plugins are applied for effect, then adding picturetubes etc. If you remove and reinstall PSP with just the 32-bit version, (old 32-bit and sometimes 16-bit) plugins work. There is something in 64-bit files that clash with the old plugins. Installed the combination and only point to old plugins in the 32-bit version. I've done it with each new PSP version, since X7. You need to know your way around the Corel site to find a 32-bit version. I noticed that trialversions automatically are installed in 64-bit. But in your case, if you had the 64 bit version, your could use that to apply Particle Shop to particular images, then revert to the 32 bit versions if you wanted then to apply 32 bit plug-ins to that image or other images. Usually people who mainly use the 64 bit version can revert to the 32 bit one if they want to use the 32 bit plug-ins. But this is useful in precisely the situation you now find yourself in. Ken Berry wrote:By default recent versions of PSP install both 64 bit and 32 bit versions of PSP, though of course only one version can be opened at a time.
